• Must be upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a caring personality.
• Great customer service skills.
• Must be available to work on Saturday and/or Sunday
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Basic computer/ data entry.
• Previous experience with the Geriatric population is preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus. (Creole, Russian, Chinese, Spanish).

Job Description:

• Assist in running recreational programs that meet the interests of the residents.
• Engage new residents to determine their interests.
• Work directly with residents in the units or off units
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.
• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.
• Collaborate with the Recreation Director to create/modify the recreation calendar and coordinate with outside parties to implement recreational activities.
• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
• Deliver mail on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift and Schedule:

• 8-hour shift. (9-5). Fulltime schedule includes Saturday and/or Sunday
• Pay Rate $16.50-$18 per hour
