Radiation Medicine Therapist

Full-time • Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. • $89,000–$115,356 + $10K sign-on bonus
Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, precise radiation therapy treatments using modern equipment and established clinical protocols.
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients during treatment, providing clear communication and supportive care.
• Review treatment prescriptions, verify dosages, document all sessions accurately, and assist with basic physics tasks such as dose calculations and treatment plan verification.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment, perform safety checks, and collaborate with technologists, physicists, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Radiation Medicine or Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• Familiarity with radiation therapy equipment and workflows, typically gained through 3–6 months of hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical skills to set up equipment correctly, calculate treatment parameters, and identify adverse reactions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to support patients compassionately and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
