Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Portage, IN

Pay Rate: $36 hourly rate +$5K sign on bonus

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our client's organization in the Portage, IN area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair work as a Millwright, including burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, combustion, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform advanced diagnostics.
• Read and interpret blueprints to guide repair and installation work.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, stable, and efficient workplace.
• Provide quality customer service and attention to detail in all tasks.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience as a Millwright.
• Proficiency in burning, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, combustion, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex mechanical problems.
• Advanced hydraulics experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
