Job Description

The Air Compressor Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of air compressor systems and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various compressor technologies, as well as air dryer systems, and will be comfortable performing both preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various air compressor systems, including:

  • Scroll compressors

  • Reciprocating compressors

  • Rotary screw compressors

  • Rotary vane compressors

  • Oil-lubricated and oil-free systems

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on air dryers.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, replace parts, and restore systems to proper function.

• Maintain service records and provide clear, detailed documentation of work performed.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to unscheduled service requests.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with Powerex Scroll Compressors and Nano Air Dryers .

• Strong understanding of compressor operation principles and pneumatic systems.

• Comfortable working on equipment from various manufacturers and of different vintages.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (3–5+ years preferred) working as an air compressor technician or similar role.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to interpret service manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
