Job Description

Used Car Sales Manager Duties:

• Manage and oversee used car inventory, including acquisition, reconditioning, and merchandising.
• Monitor and manage the reconditioning process, deciding which vehicles to keep and which to wholesale.
• Work with lenders to maximize financing opportunities for customers.
• Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge and effective selling techniques.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Accountability and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in inventory control and management.
• Knowledge of automotive industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
• Proficient in inventory management and sales tracking software (V Auto experience helpful).
• Familiarity with strategic vehicle acquisition methods.
