Job Posting: Tower Climber (4 Openings)

Location:  1025 Mt Vernon Drive, Shelbyville, KY 40065

Positions Available:  4 (Forming a new 4-man crew)

About the Role:

We are seeking four skilled and motivated Tower Climbers to form a dedicated crew at our Shelbyville, KY location. This is an opportunity to specialize in a niche area of the telecommunications industry, offering a chance to work on innovative projects that are anything but typical.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tower work, including mounting and plumbing antennas and radios, terminating power and fiber in squids, and routing, supporting, and connecting to radios. You’ll need to be a team player, able to follow directions from the foreman, and think creatively to solve problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tower climbing, erection, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication systems.
• Mount, align, and plumb antennas and radios with precision.
• Terminate and test fiber and power connections within squids.
• Route, support, and connect cabling to radios and associated equipment.
• Rigging and hoisting of equipment and materials.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
• Complete all required job-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Work collaboratively as a cohesive unit with your crew members.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is required on a site-by-site basis.
• Work is generally Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Required Certifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30
• Rigging
• CPR & First Aid
• Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
• Certified Climber/Rescue
• Additional transferable certifications from previous roles are a plus.

Driver’s License Requirements (Must Have a Valid Driver's License):

• Class C (Minimum Requirement)
• Class B or Class A (A significant plus)
