Role: Senior MuleSoft Developer

Location: Louisville, KY (Remote)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior MuleSoft Developer to join our integration team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in MuleSoft development, hands-on experience with Salesforce integrations, and a strong background in cloud-based integration solutions.
• This position requires technical leadership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4 preferred).
• Develop and maintain API specifications using RAML/OpenAPI standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, Salesforce developers, and business analysts to gather requirements and define integration needs.
• Integrate MuleSoft applications with Salesforce and other cloud/on-premise systems using APIs and connectors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize performance of MuleSoft flows and APIs through best practices and performance tuning.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft application deployment.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise integration standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and conduct peer code reviews.
• Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in software development with a focus on integration technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4 preferred).
• 4+ years of experience working with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP API interaction, data synchronization, and event-driven flows.
• 4+ years of experience with API design standards using RAML or OpenAPI specifications.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud integration environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 3+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven for automated MuleSoft deployments.
• 3+ years of experience in debugging and performance optimization of integration flows.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum-based development teams.
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of integration patterns, data transformation (Dataweave), and exception handling in MuleSoft.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 (Mule 4)
• Experience with Salesforce Event Bus, Platform Events, or Change Data Capture (CDC)
• Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and API security best practices
• Familiarity with MuleSoft Cloudhub, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Monitoring
• Exposure to enterprise messaging systems like Kafka, JMS, or AMQP
• Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience working in client-facing roles
