Job Description

iRay is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of advanced X-ray system components for medical, veterinary, and industrial imaging applications.

Founded in 2011, iRay is headquartered in Shanghai, China, with production facilities in China and Korea. In 2023, the company expanded its global footprint by opening a new facility in Solon, Ohio.

iRay has been publicly listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange since September 18, 2020.

Responsibilities

1. Participate in comprehensive on-site training to understand our company’s medical device technologies, including X-ray flat panel detectors and related imaging systems.
2. Support factory and field engineers in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and calibration.
3. Provide technical support to customers, assisting with installation, product demonstration, and after-sales service.
4. Work closely with R&D and production teams to understand system design, circuit principles, and hardware assembly.
5. Gradually develop communication and solution-oriented skills for customer-facing roles.
6. After approximately 1-2 years of technical and business development training, transition into a full-time Sales Engineer role, responsible for regional customer engagement and technical solution promotion.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Mechatronics, or related STEM disciplines .
2. Solid understanding of circuit boards, analog electronics, and basic electrical principles ; strong hands-on and troubleshooting skills.
3. Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) for effective internal and external communication.
4. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities.
5. OPT candidates are welcome, and the company provides H-1B sponsorship support .
