Project Manager - HVAC Systems Manufacturing

Location: West Chester, OH

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000(flex) + Benefits + PTO

Bright Minds is searching for a highly organized and process-driven Project Manager to oversee turnkey HVAC system projects from inception through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of project ownership and experience supporting technical teams across construction, HVAC, chillers, or similar engineered solutions environments.

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of assigned projects from order inception through closeout, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while maintaining strong customer communication. You will collaborate with Application Engineering on order entry and system design, develop and manage project schedules in Microsoft Project, and maintain internal Order Status Reports to meet key deadlines. Project Manager’s monitor project costs, prepare monthly reports for leadership, and coordinate engineering, submittals, production release, and procurement of major components, including invoice approvals.

Ideal candidates will be skilled in communicating milestones and delivery timelines to customers, managing change orders, and working closely with subcontractors, installation teams, and field personnel. You will support on-site start-up and commissioning, participate in VDC/BIM coordination, and ensure all project closeout documentation is completed while fostering strong long-term customer relationships.

Requirements for the Project Manager:

• 2+ years of Project Management experience with a strong background in HVAC, chillers, mechanical systems, or related industries (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication skills with a process-driven, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and building plans.
• Associate degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Sciences, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Experience in modular HVAC manufacturing, or engineered systems is highly desired.
• Familiarity with equipment design, material compatibility, and electrical power components.
• Prior VDC/BIM coordination experience is a plus.
