Job Description

Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer to design, automate, and optimize business-critical workflows across clinical and laboratory systems. This role focuses heavily on compliance-driven automation (GMP, FDA, HIPAA) and supporting the digital transformation of clinical trial, laboratory, and patient care platforms .

The ideal candidate has a background in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) and experience integrating LMS, CTMS, EHR/EMR , or other healthcare-related systems to ensure reliability, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and deploy Power Apps solutions that automate workflows in Learning Management (LMS) and Clinical Trial (CTMS) environments.
  • Create low-code applications supporting GMP and compliance automation initiatives.
  • Develop custom Power Automate flows to streamline data exchange between legacy and modern systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, SAP, Workday, Oracle).
  • Work with QA, Clinical Operations, and IT to ensure audit-ready workflows (SOX, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Design dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide insight into compliance metrics and operational KPIs.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Azure AD, Dynamics 365, and SQL Server .
  • Support process automation to improve safety, reduce human error, and enhance data integrity across the healthcare ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 , Azure , and Dataverse integrations.
  • Background working in regulated environments (GxP, GMP, HIPAA, FDA, SOX).
  • Strong understanding of LMS/CTMS/EHR/EMR systems and related compliance workflows.
  • Proficiency in Power Fx , JSON , JavaScript , or SQL scripting for customization and automation.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional clinical and IT teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM customization .
  • Familiarity with AI Builder , RPA , or Power Virtual Agents .
  • Prior experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare technology environments.
