We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Student Services team and provide services to students with physical and mobility challenges, enabling them to fully access their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate students with physical disabilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and progress toward goals.
• Educate staff and caregivers on techniques for improving mobility and physical function in students.
• Recommend adaptive equipment or classroom modifications when needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in New York
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between school sites if required
