Reid’s Tannery Promotional Products , a division of H&K Group, Inc ., is looking for part-time help in the production area to join our team and assist in all aspects of the job. The ideal candidate is experienced, accurate, detail oriented, friendly, and professional. A resume is strongly preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

• Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Read work orders
• Count and prepare orders for production, includes possible unpacking of products out of their plastic boxes
• Reclaiming screens
• Coating, imaging and screen maintenance including taping screens
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and can stand on your feet a majority of the day
• Must be detail oriented, self motivated and a team player
• Heat press operation
• Filing film
• Catching for the screen printers if needed
• Additional miscellaneous duties assisting the staff in the retail store, pulling and packing requested promotions for events
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

• Experience with industrial Tajima 4-head machine or similar
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet customer deadlines
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution
• Experience with manual and/or automated screen-printing processes and equipment
• Resume with application is strongly preferred

Physical Demands

• Regularly reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, or balance
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to:
  • Moving parts
  • Fumes or airborne particles
  • Toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Wet and/or humid conditions
• Noise level is occasionally loud

Reid's Tannery Promotional Products was originally established as an in-house “company store” for Haines and Kibblehouse, Inc. where employees, family and friends could purchase branded apparel and promotional items. Today, we service the entire H&K Group Family of Companies (H&K) with logoed apparel and promotional items, as well as a vast list of outside customers and clients.
