CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting opportunity to join an evolving and growing dynamic enterprise in the Peachtree City, GA area. This is a direct hire opportunity working nights. The hours are 6:45pm-7:15 am and they work a rotating shift 2-3-2. The ideal candidate must have injecting molding experience and RJG.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician/Injection Molding Technician

to join our injection molding manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge of molding machines, materials, and tooling, as well as a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment according to production specifications.
• Monitor and optimize molding parameters to ensure consistent part quality and cycle times.
• Perform mold changes and machine startups/shutdowns as required.
• Troubleshoot process issues including flash, short shots, warping, and other defects.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process settings, changes, and production data.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Train operators on proper machine operation and safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, plastics, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in injection molding operations or process technician role.
• Strong understanding of thermoplastics, mold design, and machine operation.
• Familiarity with scientific molding principles and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.
