Title: Mechanical Engineer – Machine Design

Hire Type : Direct Hire

Salary : $105k - $115k (dependent on experience)

What You’ll Do :

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion
• Apply engineering and machine design principles to develop custom solutions
• Create, modify, and update mechanical drawings and BOMs
• Analyze and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and efficiency
• Mentor engineers and designers on best practices in machine design
• Oversee site inspections and supervise equipment installations
• Work hands-on with assembly teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and maintain engineering and drafting standards

What You Bring to the Team :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience designing custom industrial equipment
• Passion for innovation and problem-solving
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication)
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (Inventor preferred)
• Experience with GD&T (preferred)
• FEA experience (a plus)
• Hands-on field experience and ability to conduct site audits (a plus)
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including some international opportunities
