Mechanical Design Engineer | CAD • Python • Mechatronics • FEA • Prototyping

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and test hardware systems
• Perform FEA (structural, thermal, vibration) and tolerance analysis
• Create detailed engineering drawings and documentation
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software teams
• Use hand tools, 3D printers, and fabrication methods for quick builds
• Drive projects from concept to execution, often juggling multiple priorities

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with Creo or similar CAD tools (SolidWorks a plus)
• Ability to code in Python
• Has solid understanding of mechatronics
• Mechanical analysis and hands-on prototyping experience
• Strong communication & problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• MS/PhD or 5+ years industry experience
• Robotics or electro-mechanical integration exposure
• Knowledge of microcontrollers, motors, and circuit testing

The expected salary range for this position is between $80K - $102K annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
