Opportunity Description:

HumanEdge Health is seeking a dedicated Travel LMSW for a 12-week assignment in the Emergency Room at a facility in Kingston, NY. This role supports patients and families in a fast-paced environment, providing crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, and care coordination.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 2:15 PM – 10:15 PM (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 37

Unit: Emergency Room

On-Call: None

Job Duties:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for ER patients
• Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and patient/family advocacy
• Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams to determine patient needs
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients to community resources
• Document all interventions in accordance with facility standards

Requirements:

• Active LMSW license and Master's degree in Social Work
• Minimum 2 years of social work experience (ER or hospital experience preferred)
• Strong crisis assessment and de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
