Bayshore Properties is seeking an dynamic and results driven Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts at our largest property - Park West Apartments, a 1,337-unit market rate apartment community located in Griffith, Indiana. This high-impact role is based in Northwest Indiana , centrally located near the Illinois border and just minutes from major interstates, providing convenient access to Chicago and surrounding areas.

As Leasing Manager, you will play a key role in driving occupancy, mentoring a high-performing leasing team, and delivering an exceptional resident experience. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for leasing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and knows how to motivate a team to exceed leasing goals while ensuring an outstanding experience for prospects and residents alike.

🕘 Schedule: Full-time, hourly | Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM, with availability to work a minimum of one Saturday per month.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelors Degree in related field is preferred.
• Proven success in leasing or sales; multifamily housing experience strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of property management experience. Minimum 3 years leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and presentation skills are necessary
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with property management software is required; familiarity with Entrata is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation

What You'll Do:

• Lead day-to-day leasing operations, ensuring occupancy goals are consistently met or exceeded
• Manage and mentor the leasing team, fostering a high-performance and customer-first culture
• Set and attain leasing goals in conjunction to property goals
• Oversee leasing tours, follow-ups, and application processes
• Collaborate with marketing to execute leasing campaigns and outreach strategies
• Lead weekly leasing team meetings
• Step in to perform leasing duties as needed to ensure uninterrupted leasing operations and support team coverage gaps.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Deliver an exceptional resident experience from first contact through move-in
• Develop and manage a monthly schedule to provide proper coverage for leasing office
• Conduct monthly market surveys to ensure we are competitive in our pricing
• Other duties or projects as assigned

Physical Requirements

• General office environment; using a computer and telephone.
• Ability to navigate the property for tours, and outreach marketing efforts.
• Alternate sitting / standing; bend/stoop, climb stairs, walking consistently during shift
• Lift and carry up to 20 pounds
• Has normal range of vision, hearing and speech
