Requirements:

•  Be at least 21 years of age (because alcohol)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a passion for food and people
• Must be able to work late nights (like until 4am!)
• Must have problem-solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
• Maintain a positive presence at all times

Summary: The Bar Manager’s main responsibility is to lead bar staff in a positive manner to execute a successful shift. They oversee the vibe of the bar in terms of quality of service, cleanliness, and communication between staff and guests. Works with the GM and Beverage Director to maintain current menu sales, other promotions, and procuring items needed for the bar’s success. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs any duty required of teammates, as well as ability to train new hires in these duties.

• Communicates as needed with Beverage Director via text and/or email to review shop needs, points of interests, guest and employee feedback, or any other pertinent information. 

• Build and maintain relationships with any 3 rd party reps or vendors 

• Performs or coordinate regular cleaning and maintenance of bar wares and environment

• Lead staff by example and maintain usage of opening and closing checklists

• Effectively and efficiently orders all supplies and beverages for the location, in accordance to the GM and Beverage Director

• Works with HR to notify of hiring needs and recognize staff for potential promotions and leadership

• Able to assist in bar staff/Spirit Guide training in accordance with the Beverage Director

• Maintains location workflow with consistent initiative to improve efficiency when possible

• Ensures and maintains all Late Night Slice/Oddfellows promotional materials are visible and up-to-date, including point-of-sale displays, banners, window and wall fixtures, employee recipe and informational postings, and menu addendums.

• Creates and maintains employee schedules, and posts each week on Thursday’s

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
