Job Title: Laboratory Technician (1-Year Contract)

💲 Pay: $25/hr on W2
📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team on a 1-year contract . This role supports our residential roofing business by conducting product tests and ensuring high-quality standards. If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments , this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
✔ Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
✔ Conduct routine shingle testing and sample preparation
✔ Perform tests and accurately document results in LIMs
✔ Clean and maintain lab equipment
✔ Operate forklift safely in high-traffic areas
✔ Collaborate effectively with engineers and scientists
Qualifications
✅ Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
✅ Experience in a laboratory and/or manufacturing environment
✅ Hands-on aptitude with mechanical equipment
✅ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
✅ Forklift operation experience required
✅ Strong communication and organizational skills
