Job Description

Technical Business Analyst - Direct Hire - Plymouth, MN

Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position focuses on optimizing Enterprise Applications, developing Power BI reports and dashboards, and supporting AI initiatives. The analyst works closely with teams across Finance, IT, Operations, and Franchise Development to analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver insights that enhance performance, customer experience, and long-term growth.

This is a full-time direct hire position which will be 100% onsite in Plymouth, MN. Target salary is between $100,000 to $120,000. Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN metropolitan area. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship both now and in the future. No C2C or third parties.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Applications

Drive the effectiveness of company software ecosystem by aligning enterprise applications with business goals and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.

  • Manage and support core software systems.
  • Establish and maintain processes and tools for reliable software delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement in release management and application lifecycle practices.
  • Collaborate with developers and support teams to ensure consistent performance, documentation, and operational standards.
  • Assist in evaluating user needs and recommending appropriate hardware/software solutions.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure alignment with user expectations.
  • Lead design/code reviews, coordinate testing phases, and gather user feedback to refine applications.

Power BI Reporting & Analytics

Provide actionable insights through effective data visualization and reporting.

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for various departments.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear visualizations.
  • Ensure data accuracy through regular validation and quality checks.
  • Train and support users in leveraging Power BI tools effectively.

AI Initiatives

Support AI-driven innovation and process improvement across the organization.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on AI technologies and their business applications.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for enhanced efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and implement AI solutions.
  • Monitor AI model performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to improve system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Experience using AI tools for data analysis and application development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
