Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with 5+ years of HVAC field experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires expertise in reading schematics and designs, as well as proficiency in troubleshooting various HVAC/R systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system designs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems and provide effective solutions.
- Perform appliance repair tasks related to HVAC/R systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during all installations and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during service calls.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration mechanics and plumbing aspects.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC work is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
