Job Description
Salary: $166,400 - 208,000 per year Requirements:
- We seek a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Healthcare Informatics is necessary.
- TOGAF certification or certification as a Certified Healthcare Architect (CHPL) is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, specifically within the healthcare sector.
- Proven strong skills in facilitation, negotiation, and influence.
- A proactive and self-motivated individual who can thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Regular local presence in the office is required.
Responsibilities: - In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Defining enterprise-level solution architecture for Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and API gateway systems.
- Architecting solutions centered around Epic and Cerner (experience with these systems is essential).
- Overseeing the complete delivery process, from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Evaluating and recommending commercial off-the-shelf products based on clinical and compliance needs.
- Presenting the architectural vision, return on investment (ROI), and compliance strategies to executive stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to HIPAA, SOX, and patient safety regulations.
- Mentoring junior architects and steering vendor product integrations.

This position is a contract role, with the potential for a full-time hire after 12 months. We offer a pay rate of $80.00 - $100.00 per hour for an expected workload of 40 hours per week. Benefits include the ability to work from home.
