Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in construction or a similar field (residential, commercial, pipeline, etc.)
• Pipe Fusion / HDPE fusion experience
• Familiarity with common hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically able to meet job requirements: driving, inspections, lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted, excavation, and tool operation in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• HAZWOPER 40 certification
• Heavy equipment operation experience highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and internal teams professionally
• Assist with excavation using shovels and picks
• Support equipment operators during excavation and pipe installation by clearing debris
• Operate fusion equipment under the supervision of a fusion technician
• Perform depth measurements and assist with surveying for lateral and horizontal piping installs
• Operate dump trucks to haul waste from project sites
• Prepare drilling sites by clearing debris, leveling equipment areas, and placing sand or other materials for pipe installation
• Install stakes and supports for piping on slopes
• Enter excavations, manholes, and confined spaces to fuse and install piping systems
• Repair gas lines by cutting piping or draining liquids
• Use power and pneumatic tools to cut, connect, and install piping and wellheads
• Repair or connect piping using adhesives, primers, and sealants
• Operate backhoes and heavy equipment for soil and waste removal
• Remove, clean, and install LFG gas system liquid pumps
• Conduct surface emission monitoring at landfill sites
• Perform vegetation control using mowers and weed-eaters
• Handle parts and equipment pick-up and transport
