Furniture Prep Specialist

Shift: Day M – Th 6am – 3:30pm and F 6am – 10am May require holiday and weekend hours.

Pay : $16, possible increase depending on experience

Job Duties:

• Inspect all furniture prior to delivery

• Evaluate damage on returned furniture and coordinate with the customer service manager on all documentation

• Repair, match and mix colors, and finish furniture per order prior to delivery

• Perform necessary repairs on furniture in warehouse

• Perform necessary repairs on furniture in customer’s home as needed

• Assist with proper storage of items and comply with all safety regulations

• Assist with inventory of product and materials, notifying supervisor of need to replenish

• Maintain organized work areas and perform any other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills : High School education or trade school education with courses in woodworking or cabinet making at apprentice level. At least four years of experience with woodworking, furniture finishing, and upholstery repair. Able to repair and finish furniture. Able to lift heavy objects.
