Description:
Duties include but are not limited to : Intermediate skill level in all electrician duties. Should be able to perform electrical work and repair on equipment such as power panels, controllers, motor starters, and various other pieces of equipment with minimal to no supervision. Must know how to run cables, band cables, and install cableways. Must be able to strip cables and make connections. Must be able to operate power tools and determine type needed to accomplish jobs. Must be able to read blueprints with minimal assistance. Must be able to use multimeter to test and check voltages. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Supervision: Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 3 to 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS : Hard hat, in required areas, safety shoes and safety glasses
