We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our client's team! This role supports both trucking and rail operations, coordinating daily schedules, communicating with drivers and rail partners, and ensuring smooth, on-time movement of freight.
What you’ll do:
• Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries
• Coordinate shipments moving by rail and communicate with rail providers
• Monitor routes, rail timelines, and provide real-time updates
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and rail contacts
• Troubleshoot delays, service issues, or routing changes
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and ensure safety/compliance
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in dispatching (trucking, rail, or logistics) preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with dispatch/TMS systems and rail operations is a plus
