Facility Director

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Facility Manager / Director who will oversee the daily operations of community repair and maintenance at a single installation. A day in the life:

• Provide management oversight of daily operations, financial reporting, and customer service across the maintenance team.
• Conduct regular physical property inspections to ensure proper upkeep and asset maintenance.
• Forecast maintenance needs and implement effective time management strategies to meet service goals.
• Partner with military executives and project teams to improve maintenance initiatives and standards.
• Lead and develop a highly motivated and skilled maintenance staff.
• Oversee safety, Hazmat, environmental plans, and ensure Zero Harm compliance.

The wish list:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in facility management, preferably with exposure to budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, Hazmat, and EPA protocols; Universal HVAC certification preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
