Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Global Business Solutions, helps build and run offshore and nearshore support teams for NCLH. This person focuses on improving how we deliver services in one key area, Technology, Contact Center, or Backoffice functions (like HR or Finance). They make sure we work with the right partners, get good results, and keep costs in check, while supporting teams around the world.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage offshore/nearshore support teams for one area (Tech, Contact Center, or Backoffice).
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal sourcing models, including Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and full outsourcing, based on cost, risk, and talent availability.
  • Partner with department leaders and HR to assess current org structures and develop future-state models that integrate offshore talent.
  • Analyze labor markets considerations to identify the most suitable offshore destinations.
  • Serve as a key advisor to leadership on organizational and people risks associated with transitions.
  • Help pick, onboard, and manage external partners and vendors.
  • Track performance using metrics and hold partners accountable to expectations.
  • Work with HR, IT, Legal, and other teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Spot ways to improve how we work through automation, better tools, or simpler processes.
  • Manage budgets and support cost-saving efforts.
  • Lead change efforts so teams are supported through any transitions.
  • Ensure all teams and vendors follow local laws and company policies.
  • Grow and support a high-performing, global team.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Master's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business, Finance, or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years working in global operations, shared services, outsourcing, or Consulting
  • 6+ years Leading teams, ideally across multiple locations or countries
  • Experience developing or leading services in a global delivery model
  • Experience managing vendors or third-party providers

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Clear communicator and team player who works well with different departments
  • Good at solving problems, managing projects, and tracking results
  • Knows how to work with budgets and measure success
  • Understands global service delivery and how to manage risk and compliance
  • Able to lead people and support change effectively

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

  • Certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience at a global company or consulting firm
