Position: Dentistry – Malone, New York

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills Required:

Dentist with current NYS license.

Graduate from a CODA accredited dental school in the United States or Canada with a DDS or DMD degree.

Current DEA registration for the purpose of writing prescriptions

Ability to treat a full spectrum of patients including patients of all ages and those with special needs in a clinical setting.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides general dental services at The Alice Hyde Medical Center Dental Clinic; Performs related duties as required.

Position Specific Contributions:

1. Provides high quality care to patients in the Dental Clinic as set forth in the scope of services consistent with the standards set by JCAHO, NYSDOH, and guidelines established by Alice Hyde Medical Center.
2. Provides accurate and timely documentation to ensure corporate compliance and timely billing of claims.
3. Possess thorough knowledge of principles and practices of modern dentistry and prevention of dental diseases.
4. Maintains continuing medical educations requirements according to the Alice Hyde Medical Staff bylaws and ass required for licensure in NYS.
5. Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
6. Commitment toward improving patient care, and exceeding customer expectations.
7. Is flexible and creative in dealing with challenges and changes, for patients, co-workers and the health care delivery.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Compensation ranges (subject to change):

$230,000 – $255,000
