Job Opportunity: Customer Support Representative
Location: Wilmington DE
Pay Rate: $15.15
Responsibilities
Handle high-volume inbound customer calls and back-office functions including billing, collections, and field service scheduling.
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to billing, payments, and service orders.
Maintain and update customer records, service orders, and reports accurately in the CIS system.
Process payments, prepare daily deposits, and manage cashiering and reception duties professionally.
Promote and explain company programs (e.g., ACH, eBilling, conservation) to customers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Delaware regulatory commission requirements while meeting customer service performance metrics.
Qualification
Minimum 2 years of experience in call center, front office, back office, bad debt, or billing-related customer service roles required
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
Experience in regulated utility or municipal customer service is preferred
Familiarity with CC&B Customer Billing Information System or similar platforms is preferred
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks effectively
Proficient in using digital tools such as computers, tablets, smartphones, and related software for communication and task management
Working knowledge of the Google platform (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
