Job Summary

Work as a team within Construction Services to ensure our department remains the industry’s best resource for product and system support in both residential and commercial construction. Effectively manage all inquiries and communications while exhibiting the necessary skills to safeguard company policy and interests.

Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive)

1. Primary responsibility of providing clear, concise and accurate technical information as it relates to all Gold Bond gypsum board products, PermaBase cement board products, ProForm interior finishing products and Gold Bond plaster products.
2. Provide on-time information as it relates to product compliance with ASTM product standards, UL design requirements, building code requirements, and other standards consistent with National Gypsum’s certifications and policies.
3. Consistent support to Marketing and Research teams in planning and development of new products, fire and acoustic systems, and all marketing content with these concepts.
4. Promotion of 1-800-NATIONAL, as well as proprietary fire and sound systems through the participation in various trade shows and industry organizations, as directed.
5. Assist our field sales representatives with answering product and technical questions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following, but not limited to: Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Construction Management or Architecture.
• Minimum of (5) years of experience within the industry, reflecting a thorough understanding of the industry’s products, processes and systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communications.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work well in and lead team environments.
• The confidence and ability to communicate with all types of contacts: customers, suppliers, NGC Field Sales Managers, manufacturing and research associates -- at all levels.
• Knowledge of writing, interpreting, enforcing and/or managing construction documents.
• Experience with commercial construction, low-slope commercial roofing and/or building envelope a plus.

Competitive Salary, with a general salary range of $93,984.00 to$117,480.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
