Growing Behavioral Health Practice in need of adding a Psychiatrist Practitioner

Active Texas license

JOB: See New Patients and Supervise PMHNP.

Position Title: Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist Needed, see new patients and able to serve as collaborating Physician for PMHNP

Outpatient Clinical Setting(S):

Our Board-Certified Psychiatrists work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes NP's, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, Licensed Counseling Professionals and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors.

Responsibilities

Psychiatrists will provide direct patients treatment two days a week or combination of half days, supervision of our Nurse Practitioners, Send out to pharmacies NP medication prescriptions every evening (especially Schedule II). All non- controlled substances will be Prescribed by NP, all controlled medications will be limited to Psychiatrist sending meds to the pharmacy, EHR token for Controlled medication release will be provided to Psychiatrist only. Treatment of common Behavioral & Mental disorders provided to patients of all ages.

• This position requires a DEA; DPS Texas license required. Malpractice Insurance.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for the concept and vision of patient care
• Current National Board Certification
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Ability to stay disciplined to send medication out on a daily basis
• Ability to practice autonomously
• Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care
• Preferred Qualifications
• Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Contracts * PLUS*

Job Type: Part-time Contractor to Permanent Contract
