Broad Functions:
The primary responsibility of an operations Supervisor is to partner directly with hourly associates and local nGROUP leadership team/s on site to ensure the successful execution of daily operations by meeting and/or exceeding KPIs and SLA at site as assigned.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manages a team of 25+ associates including other leaders and managers facilitating Human Resources responsibilities
2. Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization while displaying strong leadership & communication skills
3. Adapt to shifts/quick changes in the work environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed
4. Teach, train, and coach while leading team members efficiently and effectively.
5. Ensure that all technical and operational equipment is in working order; report necessary repairs to General Manager
6. Maintain a safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2. 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse setting in a supervisor capacity.
3. Has 3PL, Retail & Wholesale Distribution/Reverse Logistics/E-Commerce experience. Also, vendor relationships as part of a startup or conversion.
4. Ability to develop and deliver long and short-term plans as part of the overall strategy for achieving successful operational goals.
5. Ability to de-escalate associate relation challenges before handing them off to Human Resources.
6. Strategic, business-oriented thinking coupled with firsthand operational/implementation experience and the ability to align processes and systems to support the organization's strategic objectives.
7. Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as listening skills.
8. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
9. Onsite position. No hybrid or remote.
10. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required .
