Job Description

A Gaming company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Administrative Assistant to join their team in Torrance , CA . This position is responsible for handling day-to-day administrative tasks to support the efficient functioning of the business. An associates degree in a related field, 2+ years of office work experience, proficiency in Microsoft office (Word and Excel), and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required . This is a full-time (8:30-5:30), non-exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits and 401k.

Bilingual English/Japanese Administrative Assistant Duties:

-Manages and processes sales orders, invoices, and shipments for clients.

-Arranges timely delivery of incoming shipments through coordinating with logistics companies and customs authorities.

-Provide and assist with product information necessary for retailers and distributors set up.

-Compile weekly and monthly sales data and carry out sales analysis, sales forecasting, and inventory management.

-Assists with shipment and/or retail related infraction and chargeback disputes and resolutions.

-Assists with responding to customer service queries, including general inquiries and troubleshooting/replacement issues.

-Compiling summary reports of customer service queries, to report to Japan head office.

-Creating purchase orders to our China and Japan office to replenish inventory stock.

-Completes other various administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.

-Manages day to day activities with little to no managerial supervision.

-Maintain weekly and monthly schedules, organizing and prioritizing tasks as appropriate and accomplishing tasks in a timely manner.

-Cooperate with other employees to accomplish mutual goals and promote a productive, professional, and respectful work environment.

Bilingual English/Japanese Administrative Assistant Skills:

-Must have an associates degree in a related field

-Must have 2 years of office work experience

-Must speak, read, and write Japanese

-Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
