Aviation Project Manager - Road + Civil Infrastructure

Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)

The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is kicking off a major $$$250 Million road development and civil infrastructure program. We are seeking a dedicated, PMP-certified Project Manager to steer this critical part of the Expansion Development Program (AEDP).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Take ownership of the budget, schedule, and execution of the airport's major new roadway and civil infrastructure projects.
Coordinate extensively with city departments (DSD, Capital Delivery) and airfield operations to ensure seamless execution of groundside work.
Manage the procurement process for design and construction services (RFQ/RFP), and negotiate major contracts.
Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and manage the contract change order process for heavy civil and road construction.
Ensure all road development complies with environmental codes, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

15+ years of progressive experience in managing heavy civil, road development, highway, or major infrastructure projects.
REQUIRED: Experience in road development and/or airfield (taxiway/runway) civil construction .
REQUIRED: Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or must be obtained within 9 months of hire).
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar capital budgets and schedules using tools like Primavera P6 .
Proven ability to work effectively with government/airport stakeholders and internal teams.
