Job Description

Noi Solutions is a fully vertical, strategic apparel manufacturing and sourcing company with owned factories in Asia. We collaborate with major retailers from design to production in cut and sew knits and sweaters.

The Production Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the department by relaying correspondence to and from our factories and accounts, tracking pre-production/production submits and maintaining all purchase order data.

Responsibilities of the Production Assistant

  • Assist in the product development and production process for account
  • Maintain all trackers and WIPs created by internal team; ensure high level of accuracy
  • Efficiently analyze information from overseas partners; anticipate and highlight issues
  • Track status and manage sample/ submit packages to/from NY to overseas team
  • Facilitate and manage timely approval of all components to support on-time deliveries
  • Create and send necessary product development packages
  • Assist in communicating with overseas team via daily recap e-mails
  • Timely communication and follow-up with customers on submit & sampling approvals
  • Track and catalogue large number of pre-production submits and samples
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient distribution of all incoming packages to accounts
  • Catalogue and organize sourced fabrics and trims
  • Assist in preparation for key seasonal meetings
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Skills/Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 1-2 years of production work experience (including internships)

· PowerPoint/ Canva/ Photoshop or other editing and presentation software experience preferred

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills a plus)

· Understanding of product life cycle (PLM experience a plus)

· Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Entrepreneurial spirit with a “no task is too small” attitude

· Able to adapt to change in a fast-paced client support environment

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail

· Analytical with high degree of accuracy

· Proactive with strong follow-up skills

· Resourceful problem solver
