Airline Pricing Specialist - Dallas, TX

Full-Time, 40 hrs/week

Salary: $88,000 - $92,000/yr

AER LINGUS , a member of the IAG Group, is the Irish airline subsidiary operating from Dublin, Shannon (Ireland), and Manchester (UK) to 19 destinations in North America, seeks an experienced, full-time Airline Pricing Specialist.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic team member with a flexible, positive attitude to be based in the Dallas Hub. You will develop pricing strategies together with the Aer Lingus Commercial teams in Dublin, as well as AJB Partners, and ensure timely and effective management of published and private pricing for all AJB routes sold in North America.

In this role, you will:

• Develop an understanding of AJB and EI Pricing Strategies and proactively develop this to optimize revenue for EI and AJB partners.
• Discuss/agree pricing strategies with RM and the Pricing team in Dublin.
• Determine/implement optimal pricing structure in accordance with corporate policy, EI RM+P strategies, and AJB agreement.
• Document, analyze, and measure the success of all P2P and connecting pricing initiatives.
• Take ownership and responsibility for the ongoing development of pricing products and attributes, maximizing the return on existing revenue streams, including generating revenue concepts and working in cross-functional teams to progress to decision and implementation stages.
• Proactively evaluate/measure competitor pricing for P2P and connecting markets and respond in a timely manner.

We require:

• Strong commercial awareness combined with good working knowledge of airline pricing concepts, including fares.
• Experience in analyzing, interpreting data & presenting information to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Fares Manager, Mercury Pricing systems, ATPCO, BRE and Astral preferred.
• Business/Commerce or relevant work experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in systems and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Possession of a current unrestricted passport.
• Ability to pass a 5-year security background check (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in Dallas).
