Our mission is to facilitate outsized deal value for top aesthetic practices by connecting them with private equity groups with their goal of selling their practice to a healthcare investment firm.
We conduct rigorous financial analysis and provide precise valuations for our clients so they know the true value of their company and then we put together marketing materials and showcase the practice or group to drive a competitive bidding process. AB also provides aesthetic consulting services for practices that are looking to grow so that they may one day transact down the road. Because of our unique acumen of finance in a very social aesthetic landscape, branding Aesthetic Brokers and speaking our prospective clients language through a multitude of social media outlets is critical to translating our skillset value in a language that our clients can connect to and appreciate.
Headquartered in La Jolla Village, CA, our team provides expert guidance, industry insights, and personalized service to ensure successful transactions. We are seeking a dedicated Marketing/Advertising Intern to join our team, gain industry-specific experience, and help elevate our brand presence through targeted marketing efforts and multimedia outreach.

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate student majoring in marketing, communications, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, podcasts, content creation, and digital marketing tools.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, video editing, and audio production is a bonus.
• Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Internship Objectives & Learning Goals:
• Learn and understand the Aesthetic Brokers company culture, including our focus on high-value medical practice transactions.
• Gain insight into the aesthetic and healthcare industry and the needs of our professional clients and private investors.
• Assist in creating engaging, industry-specific marketing campaigns across various platforms.
• Develop skills in podcast hosting, content planning, video production, and editing—specifically for our Aesthetic Appeal podcast featuring industry leaders and private equity investors.
• Collaborate with leadership to craft marketing schematics and outreach strategies aimed at attracting new clients and industry professionals.
• Plan, organize, and produce multimedia content for social media, blogs, newsletters, and video podcasts.
• Conduct research on industry competitors and trends to inform marketing strategies.
• Support client research and prepare presentation materials for outreach and engagement efforts. Eventually, potential client engagement opportunities will be considered as well as industry events for in person networking if growth is recognized.
• Maintain and update tracking reports of public relations activities and social media engagement.
Location:
• Primary work at our La Jolla Village headquarters, with flexible remote work available when appropriate.
Hours & Compensation:
• 15-20 hours per week
