Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Adaptive Yoga Instructor to join our neurodiverse sports and fitness program, Spectrum Sports. The ideal candidate should be able to lead and instruct a group of neurodiverse athletes in a Yoga class teaching them basic yoga movements to help with mindfulness and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in conducting classes by helping set up and take down equipment for activities. Partnering with athletes who need extra assistance by helping them with various skills, movements, and exercises.
- Provide instruction and feedback to athletes to improve their skills, technique, and performance.
- Foster a positive team culture through mentoring, communication, and by encouraging teamwork among athletes.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with neurodiverse individuals (not required)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their best.
- The ability to work with others in order to help our athletes succeed
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranging from $18 - $20 based on personal experience, background, and qualifications.
